Pianist Rasmus Sørensen and saxophonist Andreas Toftemark met in New York, where they quickly discovered a shared love for jazz’s language. Since then, they have played countless concerts together, including on tours with Benny Benack III and Vanisha Gould. Look forward to an evening filled with lyrical ballads, swing, and elegant bossa nova.

Andreas Toftemark has performed in many parts of the world—including Brazil, France, Germany, and the USA—and played with acclaimed musicians such as Francesco Ciniglio, Ethan Iverson, Rodney Green, Peter Bernstein, and Gerard Presencer. Andreas is affiliated with April Records, where he has released two critically acclaimed albums under his own name. He is a graduate of The New School of Jazz in New York and holds a European Jazz Master degree from Copenhagen, Berlin, and Paris.
Piano
Rasmus Sørensen, named Danish Jazz Musician of the Year 2024, moved to New York in 2018 as the first Dane ever to receive a full scholarship to the Manhattan School of Music. He quickly established himself there as one of the city’s most sought-after pianists. Today, Rasmus tours extensively across Europe with his trio and has established himself as an internationally recognized pianist and composer.
