Ronja Rose Andersson is one of the most promising young names on the Danish jazz scene. As both a singer and saxophonist, she possesses a rare combination of musical maturity, technical strength, and a naturally charismatic presence. Despite her young age, she has already made a mark nationally and internationally, notably with the award-winning group MUSViT, and most recently with a nomination for Musician of the Year at the DMA Jazz 2025.

Her music encompasses both jazz tradition and pop-inflected nuances, but the common thread in everything she does is the desire to create an authentic connection with the audience—a presence that makes the concert experience both personal and vibrant. For Vinterjazz at La Fontaine, she has assembled a powerful quartet: pianist Artur Tuznik, whose lyrical and European-toned sound is highly prized throughout the Nordics, alongside a Swedish rhythm section featuring bassist Jon Henriksson and drummer Cornelia Nilsson, two of Scandinavia’s most promising young musicians.

Together, the quartet will interpret both classic and contemporary standards, giving them a modern touch fueled by energy, elegance, and a strong artistic identity.
