Her latest release is the album Open Wide on Storyville Records—a genre-defying and lyrical work inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake. As a live performer, Martini is renowned for her presence and powerful synergy with Denmark’s leading jazz musicians, ranging from intimate concerts to dynamic ensemble experiences. In 2023, she received the Palæ Bar Jazz Award for her artistic contribution to Danish jazz.

A graduate of The Royal Conservatory in The Hague, he has made a name for himself as both a soloist and sideman on the Danish jazz scene, performing regularly at events such as the Copenhagen Jazz Festival. With releases like Art Roho serving Mads Søndergaard, he demonstrates a mature and personal approach that combines improvisation, storytelling, and technical finesse. Søndergaard is a captivating live performer who unites tradition and contemporary jazz in a warm, organic expression.

In 2022, he was awarded the Erik Moseholm Prize, and in 2020, he also received the Tivoli Jazz Prize for his extraordinary artistic integrity and sonic presence. As an accompanist, he is world-class and one of the few who can move effortlessly between jazz, Latin, blues, funk, R&B, and pop.
