Drummer Snorre Kirk has become a prominent presence on the international jazz scene in recent years, performing with leading Scandinavian artists and major international names, including Diane Schuur, Stephen Riley, and Eric Reed.
As a bandleader, he has rapidly established his orchestra as one of the most sought-after ensembles both at home and abroad. With eight award-winning albums and performances at many of the world’s foremost jazz festivals across Europe, the United States, and Asia, he has firmly secured his place among today’s most notable jazz leaders.
On this occasion, he appears with his European quartet, featuring internationally acclaimed rising stars Joe Webb and Giacomo Smith.
