Expect a heavy dose of organ jazz as Jacob Fischer teams up with organ virtuoso Mads Søndergaard on the Hammond in true Jimmy Smith style, featuring Jappe Zacho on sax and Tom Jensen’s rock-solid swinging drums

Jacob Fischer will be a familiar face to many, notably from his years playing with Svend Asmussen (who famously performed with Django Reinhardt) and from the thousands of concerts he played alongside Finn Ziegler and Hugo Rasmussen.

Mads Søndergaard on organ and Jeppe Zacho on sax bring the perfect blend of blues and bebop to the quartet. With years of experience on the stage, these guys truly know their jazz!

Most people have likely heard drummer Tom Jensen without even realizing it—whether in the Cirkusrevyen, performing with Stig Rossen, or in various other contexts. He is also a superb jazz drummer, a fact you’ll have the chance to experience firsthand at this concert.
