Jacob Fischer will be a familiar face to many, notably from his years playing with Svend Asmussen (who famously performed with Django Reinhardt) and from the thousands of concerts he played alongside Finn Ziegler and Hugo Rasmussen.
Mads Søndergaard on organ and Jeppe Zacho on sax bring the perfect blend of blues and bebop to the quartet. With years of experience on the stage, these guys truly know their jazz!
Most people have likely heard drummer Tom Jensen without even realizing it—whether in the Cirkusrevyen, performing with Stig Rossen, or in various other contexts. He is also a superb jazz drummer, a fact you’ll have the chance to experience firsthand at this concert.

A graduate of The Royal Conservatory in The Hague, he has made a name for himself as both a soloist and sideman on the Danish jazz scene, performing regularly at events such as the Copenhagen Jazz Festival. With releases like Art Roho serving Mads Søndergaard, he demonstrates a mature and personal approach that combines improvisation, storytelling, and technical finesse. Søndergaard is a captivating live performer who unites tradition and contemporary jazz in a warm, organic expression.
