This isn’t their first collaboration, but it’s been 22 years since they last performed together. That was back when Jacob was Jeppe’s teacher at the conservatory. Now, the long-awaited musical reunion is finally here.
Jacob Christoffersen has been a prominent figure in the Danish jazz scene for over 25 years. Renowned for his innovative compositions and a poetic yet deeply swinging touch, he has firmly established himself as one of Denmark’s leading jazz pianists. In 2013, he was honored with the prestigious Ben Webster Honorary Award.
Jeppe Tuxen is widely recognized as one of the country’s most charismatic organists. He gained fame as a member of the organ trio Ibrahim Electric and the legendary improv ensemble Hippie Da Da. His explosive energy and unique blend of funky grooves and melodic creativity captivate audiences.

He is best known as a founding member of the legendary trio Ibrahim Electric, where his iconic B3 organ helps create a unique blend of soul-jazz, funk, afrobeat, and raw energy. Tuxen’s playing is characterized by an incredible physical presence and technical mastery that have led critics to compare him to the instrument’s greatest masters. He approaches the organ with both elegance and a fierce intensity, consistently leaving audiences breathless.
