Some musicians somehow manage to fly under the radar, even though their music is of the absolute highest caliber, both nationally and internationally. This can certainly be said of one of Denmark’s finest assets on the tenor saxophone, Claus Waidtløw. Inspired by bebop and modern jazz, he delivers music at the highest possible level night after night. The accompanying trio features the best from several generations of La Fontaine’s top musicians, led by bassist Thomas Fonnesbæk.
