For this evening, Lazo has gathered yet another dream team of virtuosic musicians: guitarist and vocalist Zacharias Williams, and Kjeld Lauritzen on Hammond organ. Audiences can look forward to a concert full of captivating Afro-Cuban jazz and warm, vibrant tones that will make it difficult for anyone to stay seated.

    Kjeld Lauritsen is an institution in Danish jazz. With his massive Hammond organ and the legendary rotating Leslie speakers, he creates a sound that is raw, warm, and deeply swinging. He is renowned for his incredible footwork on the bass pedals and his mastery of everything from blues and soul-jazz to complex modern compositions. For decades, Kjeld has been a driving force on the scene—both as a leader of his own popular groups and as a generous collaborator for Danish and international soloists alike.
