Jan Harbeck is one of the country’s most sought-after saxophonists, known for his smooth tone and extroverted playing style. He is a recipient of the Ben Webster Prize, and his releases are among the absolute best-selling Danish jazz records of the past 15 years. Tonight, he performs alongside his two colleagues from the church jazz group “Come Sunday,” who have played countless church concerts together. Tonight, the group is firing on all cylinders with juicy swing, heavy funk, and sultry ballads. Kjeld Lauritsen and Espen Laub are the other members of the group.
