We are thrilled to welcome one of the leading lights of the new generation of Danish jazz, pianist Rasmus Sørensen, to La Fontaine. Tonight, he showcases his unique blend of modern jazz and tradition, joined by three world-class international musicians.
This evening, pianist Rasmus Sørensen brings a world-class international quartet featuring double bassist Jon Henriksson, one of Sweden’s most talked-about jazz musicians; drummer Andreu Pitarch Mach, who is based in Barcelona but met Rasmus in New York; and the Hungarian tenor saxophonist Gabor Bolla, who has toured extensively across Europe with several jazz legends and whose musicianship always blows the audience away. For the concert at La Fontaine, they will perform some of their favorite jazz standards alongside a few original compositions.
