Fischer is well-known for his work with the Svend Asmussen Quartet and an extensive international career featuring concerts in both the USA and Japan. The duo presents a repertoire of jazz standards, Swedish classics, and bossa nova—delivered with elegance and presence.
Line-up
Guitar
Jacob Fischer is an acclaimed Danish jazz guitarist with a unique ability to combine traditional jazz with modern improvisation. His playing is characterized by warmth, technical finesse, and a lyrical approach that allows every melody to breathe. As a soloist and collaborator with some of Scandinavia’s leading jazz musicians, he has established a prominent name on the international scene. Fischer delights audiences with both intimate concerts and energetic ensemble experiences.
Vocal
Josefine Cronholm possesses a rare ability to captivate her audience from the very first note. With her crystal-clear vocals and an almost hypnotic stage presence, she has established herself over the past two decades as one of Scandinavia’s most visionary vocalists. Josefine is well-known for her close collaborations with artists like Django Bates and Steen Rasmussen, but it is through her own projects, such as IBIS, that her talent for blending jazz improvisation with Nordic folk tones and cinematic soundscapes truly flourishes. Her music is simultaneously fragile and powerful, drawing listeners into a universe of deep melancholy, warmth, and world-class musical storytelling.
