Caroline Bugala started her career at La Fontaine with just two tunes during a jam session. By the time she stepped off the stage, the bartender had already called the owner of La Fontaine, demanding that she get a job there. Since then, she has been a cherished guest at the jazz joint. Tonight, she performs alongside brilliant Hammond organist Mads Søndergaard and his trio.

Caroline Bugala is a prominent French jazz violinist who has captivated Danish audiences with her phenomenal technique and infectious joy of playing. Originally classically trained at the Lyon Conservatory, she transitioned to jazz as a protégé of the legendary Didier Lockwood. Her style is a unique blend of modern jazz, gypsy jazz, and Latin American rhythms. In Denmark, she is frequently seen performing with Kjeld Lauritsen and Espen Laub, where she combines French elegance with a raw, swinging drive.

Jeppe Gram is known as one of Denmark’s most responsive and sophisticated drummers. A graduate of The Royal Conservatory in The Hague, he has made a name for himself as both a soloist and sideman on the Danish jazz scene, performing regularly at events such as the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
