Hammond organist Martin Schack works full-time as a professional freelance musician and has an extensive career touring in Denmark and abroad, both with his own bands and as a sideman. He is also the owner of the music venue “Termansens,” the founder of Ribe Jazz Festival and Jazzcamp Ribe, and serves as an associate professor at the Danish National Academy of Music. Additionally, the trio features the young super-guitarist Pelle von Bülow and Jeppe Gram on drums.

    Jeppe Gram is known as one of Denmark’s most responsive and sophisticated drummers. With a playing style that always centers on the core of the music, he creates a nuanced and vibrant foundation for any ensemble. Over the years, he has been a steady collaborator for many of the biggest names in Danish jazz and has established himself as a strong bandleader with his own projects, including the critically acclaimed Jeppe Gram Septet. As a recipient of numerous awards and accolades, Jeppe Gram guarantees a musical experience that combines technical mastery with a deep respect for both traditional swing and modern, exploratory jazz.

    Martin Schack is a versatile and acclaimed Danish pianist and organist, moving fluently between neo-bop, mainstream jazz, and re-interpretations of the Danish songbook. He has an extensive international career, releasing albums on Storyville Records, notably featuring Tom Harrell. Schack is also a prominent cultural figure, serving as a lecturer at the Conservatory of Music, as the owner of the venue Termansens, and as the founder of the Ribe Jazz Festival.

    Pelle von Bülow is one of the most sought-after jazz guitarists on the Copenhagen scene. In 2022, he was awarded the Erik Moseholm Prize, and in 2020, he also received the Tivoli Jazz Prize for his extraordinary artistic integrity and sonic presence. As an accompanist, he is world-class and one of the few who can move effortlessly between jazz, Latin, blues, funk, R&B, and pop. In addition to his work in the jazz community, he is also a permanent member of Erran DD’s band, Drori Hansen’s Furniture. His ability to create a unique sound and tone, along with his deep musical understanding, makes him a leading figure in Danish jazz.
