Mads Mathias is Denmark’s leading jazz crooner and an exceptional saxophonist. Mads Søndergaard is a Danish jazz pianist and organist known for his versatile and melodically strong playing, which moves between Nordic lyricism, American jazz tradition, and soulful Hammond grooves. A graduate of The Royal Conservatory in The Hague, he has made a name for himself as both a soloist and sideman on the Danish jazz scene, performing regularly at events such as the Copenhagen Jazz Festival. With releases like Art Roho serving Mads Søndergaard, he demonstrates a mature and personal approach that combines improvisation, storytelling, and technical finesse. Søndergaard is a captivating live performer who unites tradition and contemporary jazz in a warm, organic expression.
